We’re not sure who’s prouder – us, or this guy!
As any tractor mechanic can attest, there’s nothing quite as satisfying as bringing an old tractor back to life.
It’s like uncovering a piece of history and restoring it to its former glory.
That’s why we were stoked to help Kevin with the restoration of his John Deere 2120, complete with ProPart parts and plenty of rural kiwi flair.
When the John Deere 2120 was first introduced back in 1969, it was part of the much-loved New Generation series.
These tractors were built tough and designed to be used for everything from plowing fields to hauling heavy loads, which is why they’re still so popular among rural NZ farmers today.
Kevin, being a true tractor enthusiast, had taken on the challenge of restoring a John Deere 2120 to its original factory condition.

But while we can give Kevin most of the credit, he didn’t do it alone. 😉 The ProPart team were at the other end of the phone, providing a large range of parts!

With a little bit of Kevin’s magic, the John Deere 2120 was soon restored to its former glory (probably even better, if we do say so ourselves!).
But this wasn’t Kevin’s first rodeo – he’d previously restored other classic tractors like the SAME Panther, JD 1140, 1040, 2030, 1640, 2450, in his business Classic Tractor Maintenance Ltd.
