We’re honored to be a Smarrt Supporter of the Rapid Relief Team (RRT), a global charity bringing hope and relief to those in need. Whether it’s fires, floods, or tough times, RRT is always out there doing their best to lend a helping hand.
We feel a special connection to the RRT charity after their work with farming communities around NZ.
You can always count on RRT to show it’s care and support to any rural community in need.
After Cyclone Gabrielle, RRT hosted Farmers Community Connect events across Hawke’s Bay and Kaipara & Rodney, providing farmers with fencing repair materials and access to vital support services.
This is one example of 100s of ways RRT has been pitching in locally and globally to help those that could do with a bit of support.
With 14,500 volunteers in 14 countries, they are always ready to mobilise and show up for people dealing with disaster, poverty, health and disability challenges and many other hardships.
Their other work includes saving the day with the delivery of thousands of warm meals, support packs for the youth, food for families in need, truckloads of supplies for farmers when times are tough and essential aid to charities, governments, and emergency services in times of crisis.
Having experienced the impact of natural disasters ourselves, we understand the importance of critical support and we are so happy to support RRT assist the communities we serve.
