The Job: A Clutch That Had Done Its Time
A customer near Rangiora, Canterbuy was dealing with a Deutz-Fahr Agrotron K420 that had a fairly worn out wet clutch.
The wet clutch system on these tractors work hard and the components of them all have a service time – and a rebuild (while necessary) can be very expensive.
Thankfully for this tractor owner, their mechanic gave ProPart a call and we were able to save them a massive chunk on parts costs…
The Fix: Getting the tractor back in action
With a few details about the tractor, we put together everything needed for a complete wet clutch rebuild; discs, seals, friction components, the lot.
The smart move here was combining OEM and quality aftermarket parts. Same reliability, but at 40% less than an all-genuine rebuild. On a job that came to around $8K in parts, that’s a saving worth talking about, and it didn’t mean cutting any corners on quality.
